JERRY & CATHI KNIGHT'S HOME PAGE

Jerry & Cathi Knight Started their first car in 1996 when they purchased a 1935 Chevrolet Tudor standard from John Stevenson. John and a friend of his, Jim Hawks, had already built the frame with Coil suspension front and rear, disk/drum combination brakes, rack & pinion steering with a Tri-link rear suspension. The main body had been started on as they had added a power sunroof! That is how Jerry & Cathi found it. Since then, it has been under construction. It now has a 1978 Corvette LT88/300hp V8 powering a TH350 transmission. The master cylinder has been moved down to the frame. "Bonz" as we affectionately call her, also has Dakota Digital gauges, Ultra Cruise Control II, Gear Shift Indicator, & Commander 8000 Remote Control. To keep her cool, Vintage Air Conditioning was installed. The Ron  Francis' ADVANTAGE Plus fuse panel and wiring supplies power to the Power Sunroof, Specialty Power windshield wipers, Alpine CD, Shaved door solenoids, Power windows, & custom lights. "Bonz" also has custom Colorado Wheels,  Rockford Fosgate Speakers, Bow Tie mirrors and many more additions that catch your eye if you look close! The engine was dressed up with a March Serpentine belt system,  FloKooler Reverse Flow water pump, Eidlebrock 650 Chrome carburetor,  Valve covers, Performer RPM manifold, and Air Cleaner, Accell wires, Cap & Rotor, & Plugs, and all accessories were chromed. Jerry custom designed a remote control hood release system that opens the hood at the push of a button!

Cathi got her car in 2007. It is a 1955 Ford Thunderbird. There were only 16,155 made in 1955. Only around 4000 are titled today! It is a Uni-Body construction with a removable hardtop! It also has a convertible soft top! We updated it from 6 volt to 12 volt (keeping all of the 6 volt parts), had it repainted, added skirts. replaced lots of chrome and changed the fabric tires to Coker radials. It drives like a dream!
